Using 8 ply yarn and a 4mm hook.
tr - treble
fpdt - front post double treble
bpdt -back post double treble
R. 1. 1 tr in 3rd ch from hook. 1 tr in each ch to end (34 tr)
R.2. Ch 3 . (always counts as 1st tr) 1 tr in each st to end.
R.3. Repeat row 3
R. 4. Ch 3, 1 tr in each of next 12 sts, (13 tr) miss 2 sts, fpdt in next 2 sts. Working in front of workcross back and fpdt in 1st miss st, fpdt in 2nd missed st. Miss 2 sts, fpdt in next 2 sts, working behind sts just made, fpdt in 1st of missed sts, fpdt in2nd missed st. 1 tr in each of next 13 sts to end.
R. 5. Ch. 3. 1 tr in next 12 sts,bpdt in next 8 sts, 1 tr in next 13 st to end.
R. 6 Repeat row 4
R. 7. Repeat row 5
R. 8. Ch. 3. 1 tr in next 11 sts, fpdt in next 10 sts, 1 tr in next 12 sts to end
R. 9. Ch 3. 1 tr in next 11 sts, bpdt in next 10 sts, 1 tr in next 12 sts to end

Rainbow Dishcloth or Potholder
This is another little pattern I put together.Very easy for beginners.
4 ply cotton ( I used Bendigo Cotton)
Sugar & Cream cotton or similar ply & a larger hook is best for a potholder
Size 4 or G hook
Row 1. 1 dc in 2nd ch. from hook, 1 dc in each ch to end, ch 1 turn.
Row 2. 1 dc in each dc, cd last 2 sts tog.
Repeat row 2 until last 3 sts, turn, ( should be about 18 rows)
Last row. dc all sts tog. Finsh off.
Cast on 20 sts at base of 1st triangle ch1, turn and repeat until this triangle finishes the same as the first. Fasten offYou should have a diamond shape for center.
Join next colour at any stitch, ch 2, half treble in each st around to corner, 3 half treble in each corner st. Continue joining colours until you have the required size. Loop is optional.
Reverse X Stitch Wash Cloth.

Using 8 Ply pure cotton
Size 4 or G hook
Finished item Measures 21cm x 20 cm
Row 1. 1 tr into 3rd chain from hook and into each chain across row, chain 3 turn.
Row 2. *Miss 1 st. 1 tr into next st. make 1 tr in missed stitch, crossing in front of previous tr. * Repeat to end
Continue row 2 until work measures the required size. Chain 3, turn.
Last Row. 1 tr into each stitch across to end, finish off. Enjoy!1

Waffle weave wash cloth
This pattern is for the washer i designed and if made in a firm cotton acts as a loofah and is great in the shower or bath.
Using 8 ply cotton chain an even number of stitches to the desired length.
Row 1. 1 treble in 3rd stitch from hook, 1 treble in each stitch to end of row.
Row 2. Chain 3, ( 1st treble ) * Front post treble round next treble, treble in top of next treble*
repeat * to* to end of row.
Row 3. Chain 3, ( depending on whether the last stitch of previous is a treble or front post treble)
either treble into top of front post of previous row or do a front post treble around next stitch.
this pattern is continued until desired size is reached.

Row 2, 3 chain, (1st treble) 1trble into the top of the next 2 dc, *chain 3, (this set of chain is a spacer) 1 trble into top of next 3 dc* repeat to end, join.
Row 3, 3 chain, 1 trbl in same stitch as joining, 1 tr into top of next tr, 2 treble into top of next trbl, 4 chain (spacer) * 2 tr in next tr,1 tr in next, 2 trbls into last trbl, 4 chain* repeat to end join with sl st into top of 1st ch. 3.
Row 4, 3 chain, 1 trbl in same stitch as joining, 1 trbl in the next 3 trs, 2 trbls into last trbl, chain 2. *2 trbls over 4 chain space of row below, 2 chain, 2 trbls in next trbl, 1 trbl into s, 2 trs into last tr, 2 ch.* Join.
Row 5, 3 chain, 1 trbl into same st as joining, 1 trbl in the next 4 trbls, 2 trbls into last trbl, chain 2. * 1 trbl into top of 2 trbles below, 2 chain, 2 trbls in next trbl, 1 trbl into next 4 trbls, 2 trbls into last trbl, 2 ch.* Join.
Row 6, 3 chain, 1 trbl in same stitch, *1 trbl into each of the next 5 trbls, 2 trbls in last stitch. 2 chain, 1 trbl into top of 2 trbls in row below, 2 chain, 2 trbls into top of next set of stitches* repeat to end, join.
Row 7. 1 dc into same stitch as join, *chain 5, make a picot into dc, miss 1 stitch, dc into next stitch* repeat to end join and fasten off.
